Amy Smart is a former American actor and model. Born in California USA, Amy Smart started her modeling career in California. Her acting debut came in the year 1996 with The TV movie Her Costly Affair. Then, in a small role in the feature film Starship Troopers she struggled very difficult. The transition was difficult for Amy since she needed transition from modelling to acting. Models aren't considered great actors and so tend to play smaller, less important roles. However, Amy refused to give up and stepped into larger roles, beginning with the show The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. The romantic comedy Just Friends, which also featured Ryan Reynolds, saw her take on some more notable role. Amy finally got the recognition she'd been looking for since the age of 10. There were several major films in the Crank trilogy with Jason Statham. And she also played a recurring role on The Shameless series.
