Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic - and Ilkay Silk, an accomplished actor as well as a writer, director, and producer. Anna Silk was the daughter of a Briton and the son of a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. As a child, she played in commercials for a number of companies. Anna was able to move to Toronto, Ontario, to pursue her acting. In the decade which followed, she made the move to Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, in an acting workshop. They got engaged in 2009 when they were married. Anna was recently converted to Judaism and married Seth Cooperman in Fredericton.
