Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had many skills, such as being able perform, direct and produce plays, as well as write them as well as teach and serve as director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is from Britain and her mother is the "Turkish ex-pat from Cyprus who is now living in England." Anna's earliest memories include attending play rehearsals and watching her mother's working. As a young child, she was featured in various commercials. Anna was transferred out of Toronto and moved to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, during an actor's training. They became engaged in 2009, after they got married. The couple was married in a civil ceremony that December and renew their vows during a Jewish celebration in Fredericton in April of 2011 in the wake of Anna's conversion into Judaism. Bo's sex-based romance with Lauren was featured in CNN's most popular TV Couples ever and named Top TV Couple 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's popularity on social media increased following the popularity of her TV show.
