Paula Patton has a distinguished career as an actress, producer and director. Her most prominent work is for her starring role on Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Her early years were spent in Los Angeles where she came from a middle class family. The idea of instilling a love for films within her daughter was a skill that she learned from her mother she also enjoyed watching films. Paula was involved in a variety of co-curricular activities in school however she showed an interest in drama. She loved acting in stage plays along with her peers. She acted in many performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and then decided to pursue acting as a career. She enrolled at the University of Southern California in a summer program and thoroughly enjoyed her stint. She was assigned a 3 month project to create documentaries for PBS. When she was successful in completing the assignment, she began becoming a production assistant for TV documentaries. Following the completion of her project then she began putting together documentary films. Even though she loved the work, she yearned to be an actress. Her acting journey began with a small role in the romantic comedy film Hitch with Will Smith. Over the past few years, she's appeared in many films and television shows.
