Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British composer and vocalist. Harry Styles was one of the original members of One Direction. He is the son of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born February 1, 1994, in Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where as well as three of his classmates, he formed his own group, White Eskimo. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they were winners. The musician was always fascinated by music, but also wanted to become the profession of a lawyer, physiotherapist, or even a scout. A part-time job in a city bakery is his very first opportunity in order to provide for his family. Harry Styles performed Is not She Lovely (Stevie Wonder) at the 2010 auditions to The X Factor. The group was then forced to break up due to this. Following the audition on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles would be a part of a future band that would be dubbed One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of the group that began in the year 2010. The group performed hits such as My Life Would Suffer Without You from Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. This made the group one of the contenders for the award. But they came in third place, just behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles did not receive any cash prize. However, Cowell offered a 2-million-pound deal with One Direction in order for the group to be a part of Syco Records.
