Lucy Liu, an American voice actress, director, and singer, is also a talented actress. She's a beautiful, talented actress who has helped many Asian actors to make it in Hollywood. Following a string of appearances on popular television series her name was a household name when she was cast in the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she portrayed Ling Woo. Following her popularity, she was offered important part on the shows Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). The film Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an outstanding performance as Japanese crime lord O-Ren Shii. At the same time, her roles as an actress in the flops that were box-office hits like Rise: Blood Hunter were as well-known. In the following years, she started to voice prominent characters in animated films such like Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia and other small screen parts, did not achieve any success. Southland's critically-acclaimed police drama, Southland and a recurring role helped Liu re-establish as an established actress. Liu has a lot of care when choosing her roles to ensure she doesn't get typecast. Though she has embraced the roots of her family, she hasn't let them limit her as an artist.
